Seminars in Brussels


The European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) organised an "Info Day" sbouy Erasmu + programme in Brussels on 12th Nov 2014. Coordinators of 4 Sector Skills Alliance pilot projects were invited to present the results of their projects, to discuss their experiences and to give tips for project application. The European Commission organised a conference “Meeting skills needs through vocational education and training (VET) reform” in Brussels on 15th April 2014 for European stakeholders and Sector Skills Alliance pilot project coordinators. The aim of the seminar was to provide the coordinators of Sectors Skills Alliances projects with an opportunity to receive wide range feedback to their project implementation and raise profile of future SSAs in Erasmus+ programme. Oject of the seminar was to make conclusions for European Sector Skills policies and develop European stakeholders’ ownership for the pilot SSAs and their results. 130 participants from 26 EU member countries attended the seminar. Seminar programme consisted of five parallel workshops. Topics of the workshops included progress report evaluation, guidance for project implementation and touch specific issues such as ECVET, EQAVET. Seminar also discussed cooperation between the labor market and VET providers.
